I didn't have to buy a single valentines this year because Zacks grandparents hooked him up. Thank you for all the wonderful fun things for v-day and thank you for not sending a ton of crap. Coloring books, frog shirts, and stickers. Perfect thank you. We love you all see you all in the next few months.

Just because you drive a Land Rover doesn't mean you can't be a red neck. Check out our Rovy. Yup that would be two twin beds and a table on top of that thing. At Christmas my mom and I bought Zack all new big boy bedding for a twin bed and his Grandma Stahlman had sent him money to put towards a bed. So on the way home from Idaho Dorie went on Craigs list and found this bed. It didn't have any pictures and I was really wanting this bed for him by flex but it was super expensive so we decided to check it out and came home with this on top of my car. It is totally retro but it was only 120.00 bucks and came with the mattresses and the funky pillows which I will have re-upholstered. It is perfect. When someone comes to vist they can sleep in out bed and we can sleep with the boy. I am going to put bed skirts on it so you can't see the wood and I am going to paint the table with chalk board paint. For now it sits in the play room till my sister moves out in the next few days then he will have his bedroom all fixed just right.

The road Trip

I am not sure what mountains these are but they followed us the whole way to Idaho. We hit snow about ninty miles outside of Vegas and it stayed with us till we got back to Vegas, three days later. I know I said it was suppose to be a one day trip but we ended up being gone for three. Thank you snow.

This is Connie and Kade it was his first time out in the snow. Connie and her family were nice enough to let us spend the night so we wouldn't have to drive home in a snow storm. They live in Salt Lake City, UT which was the half way point between home and Boise.

This is Morgan and baby Kade. She will make a good big sister someday. I cannot remember the dogs name but he is their baby. He really like Dorie he didn't want us to leave apparently.

Then he wanted to dance. She was hesitant but finally decided to let him.

Marcia and Kade after a really big blow-out diaper. I actually have pics of that but thought I would spare you. This baby was so amazing on this trip he only cried when he pooped or wanted to eat.

A trip to Idaho

Last week I got the most awesome opportunity to join two of my girl friends on a little over night to Idaho. My friend Marcia is opening a coffee shop and they wanted to go check out a coffee roasting place in Boise. It was so much fun. The pictures below are of a man that has been roasting coffee for 15 years at this shop. The shop only has two roasters and they start the process at 4 in the morning and roast all day. Then ship coffee out all over the US. I can't remember this man's name but you could just see the passion in his eye's as he roasted these beans. He hand checked each bean it was very sweet.

Baby Kade loved the roasters. He had a hard time keeping his eyes off them.

Did you know that coffee beans are green before they are roasted. I didn't. They get shipped in big burlap bags then they roast the beans and bag them to be shipped to the coffee shops.

This is Dave's coffee shop. He owns the roasting shop. It was a quaint little shop and everyone seemed to know him. It was a simple place not super fancy but the coffee and chai was truly the best I have ever had. Marcia decided that she is going to use this coffee in her shop. Yummy!!!!!
